Wicket gate Explanation: Pishpash (פִּשְׁפָּשׁ) is the term coined in 1942 by the Academy of the Hebrew Language for a gate inside a wall (rather than a doorway). The term was reaffirmed in 1971 and again in 1985. The AHL does not permit direct links to individual terms, but if you look up the word פשפש in the accompanying reference you will find verification for the term.
