The music is divorced from the song Explanation: The translation you have accepted is, in my opinion, completely wrong. The use of the verb Ayin Tav Kof in the huph'al means wrenching. The music has been wrenched from the song. In the absence of context, I cannot be certain but I would think it is a negative criticism to say that the music has no relationship to the lyrics. |
