neutral  gfrim: It actually translates as "appear" or "present oneself". In colloquial English I would say "check in". There is no mention of boarding the plane. "Leg" is also used, though the non-slang word should be "segment".

Looks like a typo for מתיצבים. From the Hebrew I reckon this was not written by a native Hebrew speaker so anything is possible, but that's the most logical.
