קשוי see explanation below Explanation: For Judaica from present or past European communities, the best database I know would be the JewishGen site (Jewish genealogy). It has a "ShtetlSeeker" with the feature you need: a phonetic search. It is incredible, and apparently lists the name of every remote place in Europe where there were 3 houses in the middle of nowhere, and in one of them lived a Jewish family... :-))) www.jewishgen.org -> Research -> JewishGen Databases -> ShtetlSeeker Enjoy! |
