Taking a Sample
A. Sacks
1. The sample will be taken from at least 10 bags and its weight shall be no less than 1 kg.
2. If the material being sampled is packed in 10 bags or less, the sample will be taken from each bag provided that its weight will be no less than 1 kg.
B. Containers
1. If the material being sampled is packed in containers with a capacity of 1 kg., one entire container will be used as a sample.
2. If the material being sampled is packed in containers with a capacity greater than 1 kg, a sample weighing no less than one kg will be taken from them.
3. If the material being sampled is packed in containers with a capacity that is less than 1 kg., entire containers will be used as a sample provided that its weight is no less than one kg.
C. צובר
The sample will be taken from four edges and from the center and its weight shall be no less than 1 kg.
D. If it is not possible to take a sample whose weight is one kg. or more, all the material being sampled will be taken for the test.
E.When the material being sampled is liquid, 500 cubic centimeters or more will be taken from it.
