mess jacket Explanation: "מקטורן שרד, אפודה צמודה לאירועים, מקטורן ערב צמוד לגוף הנלבש כחלק ממדים (על ידי קצינים בארוחות ערב רשמיות)" According to Babylon. http://www.babylon.com/definition/mess jacket/ Just another option, but ONLY if the context is a military one. Furthermore, after reading this from the wikipedia link: "In the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), mess uniform is never actually worn inside Israel. It is only worn abroad, either by a military attaché or by senior officers on official state visits" I'd only advise using this suggestion if it's a non-Israeli military context. Otherwise, I'd go with any one of Gad's suggestions. Reference: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mess_dress |
