"The Wisdom Position" or "The Wisdom Form" Explanation: Gyan means knowledge, but it means wisdom too. Study may increase knowledge, but the mudra may activate certain brain pathways, and calm the mind and senses--a precondition to flowering of wisdom; the dawn of Truth, or higher knowledge. "Position" or "form" can be used for mudra in English, as the mudra is essentially a position or form of the fingers. Posture is not correct as it deals with the body, involving the spine and so forth. So, these would be laconic and unique English translations. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 21 hrs (2014-03-05 18:16:12 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- I WILL EVEN VOTE FOR "THE WISDOM MUDRA." Cheers!!! |

Position of fingures and hand according to yogic exercise Explanation: This is a term of Yogic Exercise and its a name of a posture during workout, so it better to use transliteration instead of translation. This can't be clear only through words that how to perform this action. So, good to use name as it is |
