confirmed cremated Explanation: "Betul" is actually another (informal) expression of "benar-benar" which gives emphasis. The closest formal emphasis is "confirmed" indicating that the cremation really has been carried out. Never saw such letter before so it's my best guess. |

Before cremation Explanation: It looks like a typing error to me. The sentence before and after is compared. 1. Belum dimakamkan - Betul/dikremasi - Before funeral/Before cremation 2. Telah dimakamkan - Telah/dikremasi - After funeral/ After cremation -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 8 hrs (2013-07-26 05:21:01 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Suggestion from Ian Forbes - not yet cremated. Thanks to Tony and Ian Tony corrected the typing error 'Betul' - 'Belum' |
