There is some action on the road,with a fast car and a couple on a motorbike. Then.

I find this term impossible to translate in this context.

Sarcastic gesture


Explanation:
They greet eachother with a (sarcastic or ironic) gesture.

I wouldn't say it's a wave, remember they are Italians, they are likely to be gesticulating at the guy as he whizzes by. Without the images it's difficult to be sure which but I can just imagine the type of gesture which indicates a mixture of "wow look at you in your flash car and go for it" The ironic gesture is likely to have some meaning to the Italian target of the commercial.

  -> Maybe not but both can be intended when Italians say ironico. The usage here is unclear unless we have the video.
