micro-controller Explanation: It seems the original is a loose translation of the technical term, which comes from English anyway. What they mean is a piece of hardware that CAN be programmed, but not necessarily one that needs a team of programmers to be sitting over it all the time when it operates. In other words, it's an automated system. |
