Agriculture
Italian term or phrase: mano
In a catalogue of agricultural spraying equipment, a sprayer is described as having a "testata di distribuzione costituita da due **mani** inferiori a quattro uscite..." You can see a picture of the sprayer here: http://www.lynkos.net/boxfile/Untitled-1.jpg . The "mani" are the "erogatori" red and black you can see in the picture, but I'm unsure how to describe them in English. Any ideas? Thanks in advance, Sarah.

Explanation:
I would simply give the generic term for the "spray distribution units".
It's simple, it does the job and it doesn't clash with the original, which is typically Italian in its imaginative quality, yet thoroughly untechnical, yet very descriptive as to their appearance. If you want to stick with that then use "hands", but I myself, wouldn't. It's too specific a term for this purpose, in my estimation.
