Hi all,

I'm translating an article on a restored iron knife found among the funerary objects of a tomb in Posmon, Italy.

Per quanto riguarda la decorazione del fodero risulta ottenuta con un cesello profilatore a classica terminazione di chiglia di barca, sia per il tipo di solco tracciato sul metallo, sia per *** il leggero sbalzo delle figure *** che con esso si ricava ().

Not quite sure how to render this idiomatically into English. TIA for any help
