chiedo gentilmente agli esperti del settore come tradurre il termine in oggetto, in ambito di tecniche e strumenti per riprese cinematografiche. Il contesto è il seguente:

La produzione sarà realizzata con tecniche di ripresa di altissima qualità e con l'utilizzo dei più sofisticati supporti quali:
Steadicam, dolly, slider, SLIDER PER RIPRESE IN PIANTA, drone, attrezzatura di ripresa subacquea, time lapse computerizzati sia su carrello che in rotazione a 360°
[...]

La soluzione che ho prospettato al cliente è stata "slider for steady tracking", ma non lo ha soddisfatto. Mi ha risposto che "per descrivere la particolarità delle riprese, è importante la parola "in pianta", in sostituzione userei la parola zenitale" e ha suggerito il termine "slider for zenithal image steady tracking", che non mi convince molto, ma aspetto i vostri consigli.

Faccio presente che su Google la ricerca esatta sia in italiano ("slider per riprese in pianta") che in inglese ("zenithal image steady tracking") restituisce zero risultati, per cui faccio fatica a capire di cosa si tratti tecnicamente.

A slider moves the camera horizontally, so to shoot overhead/from above could it not simply be 'vertical slider'?

I also received another answer from a friend who works in the film industry and he told me the term "in pianta" comes actually from architecture. According to him, the right translation is "slider (or dolly) for zenital footage".

I would personally pick "vertical slider" as I'm not an expert and it makes me understand what that kind of slider does. But perhaps the second solution is more specifc for insiders (I hope so!).
