perdi un pezzo della frase e del senso originale, io non lo farei... in fondo non ti trovi con le spalle al muro: esiste una traduzione quasi esatta e non scomoda!Occhio a every/any, il siginificato non è lo stesso, e a me, a "naso",sembra meglio "any"!

in this manual/help file (?) when we refer to AS directories, we are referring explicitly only to the architecture of software ver. 4.1, and not to other builds
Note from asker:
AS, in this installation guide, stands for Application Server, they are referring to the directories of the application server of the software version
