neutral  James (Jim) Davis: "plate-served" but "plated"! Boiler, gold or copper plated? // I'm sure it doesn't, but I've personally never seen it before and if I saw it on a menu, well the power of suggestion would put a metallic taste in the food. So a term best kept in the kitchen

  -> Doesn't seem strange to me. To plate also means to arrange food on a plate for serving, not just coating with metal. I agree Jim, but it's not a menu - it's a CV using 'chefy' terminology
