Italian term or phrase: tegola
The term occurs in the description of a dish on a menu, so I don't have much other context I'm afraid. The dish consists of cod served "con una tegola di parmigiano reggiano e latte". I'm not sure whether the "tegola" refers to the parmigiano (tipo "scaglia") o ad un tipo di contenitore usato per servirlo. Thanks for your help.

(Parmesan) tuile
Explanation:
Parmesan tuile: it refers to the cheese, have a look at the link, it explains how to prepare it and the term used is "tuile", actually.

Yes, this seems exactly what it is and the French sounding word goes perfectly with the rest of the menu. Thanks to you all.

Gratin/crust/crispy topping

Explanation:
I imagine that this is a crispy topping. It could refer to savoury cheese biscuits such as cheese straws but it would seem unlikely

Parmesan wafer

Explanation:
A very thin slice of (or a spoonful of grated) parmesan cheese is placed in a pan over high heat until it becomes crispy. It's very fancy and provides a base or a garnish for many dishes, or it is served as an aperitive snack.

I have seen these over here (London). I am not sure what they called them here, but "disc" is what I have heard elsewhere.
