Italian term or phrase: salatone
In this case a "Salatone di sfoglia" on a pasticceria menu.

I gather it's a sort of medium-sized (puff pastry in this case) pizza base, with a choice of toppings (or fillings?), but it doesn't appear to be a common term and any help with a suitable translation would be much appreciated.

Thanks Rockenhaus. It doesn't help me distinguish it from Pizzette di sfoglia though.
