Italian to English translations [PRO]
Education / Pedagogy / presentation of a new degree program at a university
Italian term or phrase: offerta formativa
This sentence appears in an email between colleagues at two different universities: one in Italy and one in the US.

a metà aprile iniziano le giornate di presentazione dell'offerta formativa dell'Università XXXX a studenti dei nostri corsi triennali e a studenti di altre unversità italiane.

I cannot find "educational offer" in any non-Italian site. I hesitate to use "training" (formativa) in the academic context. All suggestions welcome.

I have a US and a UK site as examples. Personally I like "proposition", which is actually on the UK link I provide.

I think you are correct not to want to use "training" or "educational". "Course" is a more general term and still fits well here IMO.

Example sentence(s):
  • "Whilst this has been taken on board by most Faculties there is no coherent central university policy or procedure which looks at ....., through initial COURSE PROPOSITION to formalised provision."
  • "COURSE PROPOSALS and changes are conducted online in the “Courses” tab on PioneerWeb. "
