Italian term or phrase: Bufferizzazione telai ferrati
Hello, am translating a website on window production and I come across this production phase. Any clues to what this could be? No additional context.
TIA!

Buffering for metal reinforced frames
Explanation:
I presume the buffering has something to do with the production line for window frames. "Ferrato" means a timber frame reinforced with metal inserts. Here's one example (for a door)

Yeah well Vincent - nobody knows what the buffering is unless you can give further information. It could be electronic buffering in he IT system or it could be physical buffering of the frames as they pass along the production line. Over to you....

Notes to answerer
Asker: Hi Tom, the reinforced insert is a component of the PVC frame. This seems to be a likely solution, but as a "gear head" I am also curious to what the actual "buffering" procedure entails :)
