Con prelievo idrico si intende tutta l’acqua necessaria al ciclo industriale: acqua di mare, acqua dolce, acqua salmastra, acque industriali da terzi, (ivi compreso eventuale vapore), le acque meteoriche utilizzate nel ciclo industriale, le acque di falda inquinata emunta trattata in TAF proprio e utilizzata nel ciclo produttivo, acqua di falda inquinata emunta trattata da TAF di terzi e utilizzata nel ciclo produttivo e ogni altro flusso idrico in ingresso al sito e utilizzato nel ciclo industriale.

It's not water consumption because that is given a separate definition. I'm going for water use but wondered if anyone could give me a proper technical term
