"derivante a" is already a glossary entry but I don't think it applies here.

I believe it means caused by/due to/deriving from (not "caused TO" as in the other entry), since we are talking about third party liability insurance. Can anyone confirm?

Explanation:
"Derivante" refers to "responsabilità". It's the insured"s liability to service providers and other third parties.
In the previous question it was translated as "attributable to", which also works here, though it's a bit more longwinded.

The previous question says "a" because the context is different, but "derivante" is correctly translated as "attributable". You can't insure against other people's liability to you - it's obviously the insured's liability to third parties, "responsabilità derivante all'assicurato".

Asker: Thanks Phil for your response, it was definitely helpful. I went with Cristiana's answer for the gloss post because it fit better with the meaning of "derivante" itself, but your way of putting it certainly makes sense!
