stories Explanation: Apparato can be another word for text, and redazionale just means journalistic, so I would translate both your words with a single "stories," since you are already using "texts." Reference: http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apparato_critico |

editing Explanation: Thanks to Jim for his helpful reference. As the asker points out, "editorial apparatus" does exist in English, but I'd never heard of it before today. It means things like typography, footnotes and bibliographies, but it's used entirely in academic circles, whereas this is a media agency we're talking about. I would translate "scrittura in inglese di testi e apparati redazionali" as "English copywriting and editing". |

formatting & output style Explanation: "Output style editing" their is a concept of "style" in terms of actual LOOK of the text: punctuation, indents and tabulation, foot/endnoting, fonts of the notes being different or the same of the main text, heading, page numbering and its location, etc. I.e., in academic Formatting and Style, one may use a Michigan University Style Standard, or Harward University Style, ecc. There are many output styles, but it is important to be consistent in their use throughout the paper (students, for example, rarely are!) -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 21 hrs (2012-09-26 06:40:39 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- there -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 21 hrs (2012-09-26 06:44:34 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- and i often tell them "il vostro apparato redazionale mi fa ca....re!", or, in English, but colloquially, "your text styling sucks!" -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 4 days (2012-09-29 17:55:08 GMT) Post-grading -------------------------------------------------- screw the points; glad to be of help :) |

Reference: No idea what to call it! One common usage is for the editorial staff and/or their activities. |
