cue sheet Explanation: l'equivalente del 'rapporto artistico', il termine è usato nel campo Performing Arts, per gestire i diritti. che sia TV, Cinema o Web. Cue sheets are the primary means by which performing rights organizations track the use of music in films and TV. Without cue sheets, it would be nearly impossible for such composers and publishers to be compensated for their work. http://www.bmi.com/creators/detail/533132 |

bordereau Explanation: I'd use French for this "publication information slip". It's a sort of a list of article and authors' names, their rates and fees; lengths and locations of the articles, etc. Basically, it's a document allowing to figure out who should be paid what, and how much! :) -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 9 hrs (2012-09-26 15:32:03 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Apparently, without Google's approval our suggestions can't be valid! The trouble is, like a wise old rabi, Google confirms tutto e il contrario di tutto! I am a (relatively widely) published author; and I have seen plenty of them thar "bordereaux" in my time. But any references to them have turned out really hard to find! Here is one: larrykinglive.blogs.cnn.com/.../the-1-billion-last-waltz-of-michael-jac...18 Oct 2009 – I was married with a musician and know that every single song he performed he had to sign on the bordereau for royalties. |
