È quanto cerchiamo di trasmettere tutti i giorni a chi sceglie i nostri prodotti, comunicando loro che dentro una confezione di XXX c’è un profondo “saper fare”.

I would like to avoid at all costs the use of "know-how". This company wishes to convey to the customer that they have passion and the utmost respect for the land their produce come from and the labourers that farm it. They are also aware of the economic challenges facing the customer. They wish to play a social role in advancing new value in step with the times etc... So this “saper fare” is really a thinking process behind the product that embrace intangible values. It is also more than a philosophy. It is rationally knowing what to do having fully taken into account the times we are at. Somebody can please help me with this?

Thsi phrase is not ideal, because it begs the question 'awareness of what ?' But it includes the element you/they want, i.e., rationality. You could try "a profoundly rational awareness of contemporary values" if you really want to squeeze in everything that should be included. Or else the 'savoir faire' suggestion might suffice.

Seems your client is trying to fit a lot of ideas into one single expression, in which case "holistic"may come in handy.

Not sure if "profoundly"is always suitable here, perhaps replaceable with "firm, sincere, genuine"etc.
