cleavage plane of pericardium Explanation: "sfladatura" can be translated as "cleavage". Putting this into a medical context with the pericardium, I found information about a procedure during surgery that involves separating organs and structures without causing too much damage. This would be my guess but without more context it's really hard to be sure. https://medical-dictionary.thefreedictionary.com/cleavage pl... https://www.annalsthoracicsurgery.org/article/S0003-4975(10)... |

exfoliation Explanation: not really sure, just an idea, as this is another meaning of it. May not be relevant to your case. The pericardium responds to injury with increased vascularity, a predominant infiltration of neutrophils, formation of granulation tissue, and deposition of fibrin. Grossly, in early pericarditis, the fibrin deposits line the parietal and visceral pericardium, but there is no adhesion between the 2 layers. Organization of the fibrinous exudate can lead to focal adhesions that become more confluent as the pericarditis heals (Figure 4). On histopathology, acute pericarditis is characterized by disintegration and exfoliation of the mesothelial cells lining the pericardium (Figure 5). https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S073510971... (A) Mesothelial cells exfoliating from the pericardium are sucked from the surgical field, get mixed with the blood of the CPB and are re-injected in the systemic circulation. https://atlasofscience.org/do-we-really-know-why-cardiac-sur... |

Reference: saddle-shaped concavity Reference information: Blocco di Calcite con sfaldature - https://liceocuneo.it/museo/mineralogia/collezione-minerali-... Classic electrocardiographic changes include widespread concave upward ST-segment elevation without reciprocal T-wave inversions or Q waves - https://www.aafp.org/afp/2014/0401/p553.html non-specific, concave ("saddle-shaped"), ST-segment elevations in all leads except aVR and V1[ - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pericarditis Useful investigations include an ECG, which is abnormal in 80% of patients with acute pericarditis. It tends to show a saddle-shaped ST segment elevation throughout all leads in the first stages (Figure 1). - http://www.pulsetoday.co.uk/clinical/clinical-specialties/ca... |
