abrasion resistance Explanation: abrasion resistance is the most common term used to "physical property "on an object to abrasion.(using sandpaper or a file are examples of applied abrasion methods, grinding is another) -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 6 hrs (2007-05-05 21:56:16 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- friction, technically speaking is when two things are rubbed together and although it may produce heat after a while, it does not necessarily mean that surface of the item is being scored, worn down or depleted in any way. |
