Italian term or phrase: coda di sedazione e curarizzazione
I have found an explanation of the above terms, but have no idea how to translate them into English. It also seems strange in the context, which is that of a patient who suffered an acute myocardial infarction, but was actually seen for acute pulmonary edema. There is no mention anywhere of him being sedated.
Full sentence reads:
ALL'ARRIVO IN PS PAZIENTE IN CODA DI SEDAZIONE E CURARIZZAZIONE, NEUROLOGICAMENTE NON VALUTABILE, PUPILLE MIOTICHE ISOCORICE FOTOREAGENTI.

The explanations I have found for coda di sedazione e curarizzazione are:

This is very urgent, my deadline is in 2 hours. Any help much appreciated.

residual sedation and curarization
Explanation:
This is not my field, but in view of the exigencies: don't you already have your answer in the quoted passage? Seems like the person that wrote the report failed to distinguish between these two types of residual effect.

If so, simply "sedation and curarization" would be correct, reflecting the writer's deficiency.

Instead of "coda," see "residual" as in en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Postoperative_residual_curarization
