In Italian scientific literature "agonista/antagonista" is the common definition. For example: (proprietà/azione/attività) agonista/antagonista recettoriale.
So I agree with Francesca: "attività agonistica" is misleading (it makes you think of a sport activity).
On the contrary, I found many references of "agonistic/antagonistic" effect/action/property in the English scientific literature.

It seems to be far less used than 'agonist'. Your solution, anyhow, is not wrong.

Hi Francesca it is repeated many times in the texts. If you read more carefully you can find them. Some examples:

"...indicating an agonistic dimension to the spectrum of action of this specific receptor antagonist..."

"....All three forms of the drug were antagonistic to EB-induced uterine weight gain over the same dose ranges in which they were agonistic by themselves..."

"....In addition, CL and its isomers are agonistic and antagonistic over the same dose ranges when uterine weight gain is used..."
