Italian to English translations [PRO]
Medical - Medical: Pharmaceuticals / faulty medicinal products
Italian term or phrase: medicinali guasti o imperfetti
443 c.p. punisce “chiunque detiene per il commercio, pone in commercio o somministra medicinali guasti o imperfetti”.

Is there an accepted translation for this term please? I haven't found one so far.

For 'imperfetti' I'm thinking 'substandard', and for the 'guasti' I'm thinking 'faulty'.

TIA!

falsified and substandard medicines

Explanation:
Esiste una definizione molto precisa della World Health Organisation: "Substandard: Also called “out of specification”, these are authorized medical products that fail to meet either their quality standards or specifications, or both. Falsified: Medical products that deliberately/fraudulently misrepresent their identity, composition or source."
