summary of the invention Explanation: A "riassunto" at the end of the document is an "abstract" in English, but if this phrase appears as a heading in the main description of the invention it should be translated as "Summary of the invention". |

Abstract (of the Disclosure) Explanation: Il riassunto (abstract) Il riassunto deve contenere una concisa sintesi di ciò che è stato espresso nella descrizione, nelle rivendicazioni e nei disegni. Definition: The abstract is a part of a written patent application. Spero di esserti stato utile in qualche modo:) The abstract is a short summary of your invention. Tips on Writing a Patent Application Tips on Writing a Patent Application Abstract Abstracts are used primarily for searching patents. They should be written in a way to make the invention easily understood by those with a background in the field. The reader should quickly be able to get a sense of the nature of the invention so that they can decide whether they need to read the rest of the patent. http://inventors.about.com/library/weekly/aapatentabstracta....
