We are talking about renewable energy and heat exchangers, and there isn't much other context either.

I haven't come across this kind of heat exchanger specifically before, but it seems pretty clear this is what is being referred to, there are plenty of references on solar applications too so I would be pretty confident. You could wait for some comments from others, I know there are plenty of people who have worked on solar
