This is taken from a passage in the conclusion of a book I am currently translation on the Transactional Analysis of schizophrenia.

I'm struggling to work out where the 'dove' fits in this sentence. It may just be that I've looked at it too many times and can't see the wood for the trees!

"L’unico dove che ci riguarda è, volta per volta, un pezzo dell’altro e dunque un pezzo di noi."

The paragraph this comes from is below:

"Rifuggi da chi ti crede uno con i piedi poco ancorati alla terra, un sognatore. L’umanità ha bisogno di chi sa guardare alla realtà con gli occhi di un bambino, di chi sa immergersi con meraviglia nella natura, perché siamo parte di questa, così come parte di essa è la nostra psiche. La psiche, è come una casa, è fatta di stanze e luoghi e memorie e sensazioni. Ed essa è nei posti che visitiamo e nelle persone che incontriamo. L’unico dove che ci riguarda è, volta per volta, un pezzo dell’altro e dunque un pezzo di noi."
