Italian term or phrase: Atti dell’Incontro nazionale, Verbania-Pallanza, 24-28 agosto 2006
I'm translating a scholarly work with many references to Acts or Proceedings of conferences. My question is whether I should translate the phrase in the note/bibliography where it reads "Atti dell’Incontro nazionale, etc.", and not put the original Italian wording, or both put the Italian wording and translate it, putting the translation in brackets. It looks like this is a published work and I'm unsure whether "Atti dell'Incontro nazionale, etc." is part of the title or not. Here's the footnote:

ORDO VIRGINUM DELLE DIOCESI CHE SONO IN ITALIA, «Non sono più io che vivo, ma Cristo vive in me» (Gal 2,20). La vita nuova nello Spirito. Atti dell’Incontro nazionale, Verbania- Pallanza, 24-28 agosto 2006, Loreto 2007.

Here's what I'm doing so far:

ORDO VIRGINUM DELLE DIOCESI CHE SONO IN ITALIA, «Non sono più io che vivo, ma Cristo vive in me» (Gal 2,20). La vita nuova nello Spirito. Atti dell’Incontro nazionale, Verbania- Pallanza, 24-28 agosto 2006, [ORDO VIRGINUM OF THE DIOCESE IN ITALY, "It is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me" (Gal 2:20). The new life in the Spirit, Acts of the National Encounter, Verbania-Pallanza, 24-28 August 2006], Loreto 2007.

But I'm unsure of whether so much should be both translated and presented in Italian as I'm doing.

Thanks!

Peter

Explanation:
Most translators would not translate this, basically out of laziness or fatigue at the end of the translation in my opinion. Also academic clients are not the richest and like to safe money.

I personally would translate this and nobody has complained over the years.
It is not really the official title and is not signed by anybody so translating it would do no harm and would be friendly and useful for a reader. You could put it in brackets, if you feel happier about it.
