Italian term or phrase: VR Dear folks, I'm struggling my way through a document about linear dynamic analysis - the calculation of seismic effects on two distillation towers. Would anyone have any idea what VR stands for in the context of this sentence? The construction has "...una vita nominale di VN= 50 anni e un periodo di riferimento per l'azione sismica pari a VR=100 anni" I figure "vita nominale" is "rated life", so VN = LR. Could the next part be "seismic timeline of reference" and VR = TR? Many thanks in advance for any suggestions...
