Italian term or phrase: riabilità biologica
A research professor is talking about incidences of certain tumours in research animals. I am not sure what "riabilità" means and how to translate it:
"Negli anni settanta le condizioni di stabulazione degli animali erano molto diversi da quelle attuali, quindi non sappiamo in che condizioni precise sono stati tenuti e a che cosa è attribuibile questa riabilità e questa elevata suscettibilità ai tumori riportati in questo studio".

English translation:biological variability
Explanation:
I could not find 'biologica' in the source text.
However, as per Discussion entry, I believe 'riabilità' to be a typo for 'variabilità', which would make sense in the context provided.

'biological variability
Lab medicine The variability in a lab parameter due to physiologic differences among subjects–interindividual BV, and in the same subject over time–intraindividual BV'

Thank you, although you had suspected the typo possibility yourself. Have a nice evening. B.

agree  Linda Thody: looks like this!

  -> 1000 grazie!

neutral  Barbara Carrara: The source term reads 'riabilità', not 'riabilitazione'. Looks like a typo for 'variabilità'. / I am not questioning the existence of 'rehabilitation', but of the Italian 'riabilità' which does not exist.

  -> riabilitare = rehabilitate. Typo? let the asker verify! http://www.fisioterapiariabilita.com/dove_siamo.html the word exists but variabilita looks more logical at second sight.

neutral  Lirka: what is that???

Notes to answerer
Asker: Sorry I can't remember why I added "biologica", after googling possibly. But this seemed the most logical option, as it is a transcription of speech and could easily be a typo/transcription error
