Italian term or phrase: peritata a secco
Hello.. I know this means the ship was surveyed on land, but what is the correct technical term? I am also confused about the term "peritata" in general- is this surveying, or appraising, or both? Is there a specific term that covers both? This document appears to contain a thorough survey of the boat and at then end, an estimated value of the property is also given. Not sure what to call this "perizia" since survey and appraisal have different meanings to me and this seems to cover both. Thanks!
