This is part of a statement on a shipping collision. The respondent is explaining his change of shift with a replacement officer who came to replace him while he went on his meal break.

The full context reads:

"A lui ho passato le consegne sulle condi-meteo, sul traffico marittimo e sula rotta..."

I have used : "I handed over to him details on the weather conditions, on the shipping traffic and on...etc"

Now I am not sure whether "consegne" might have a a more technical translation as it appears later on in the interview when the respondent is asked: "Quale forma di passaggio di consegne viene svolta tra ufficiali?" and then "Cosa le e stato detto al passaggio di consegna?"

I was a deck officer in the navy for 10 years. At the end of shift the officer 'handsover' the situation regarding weather, asset, speed etc.

my dictionary lists "passare le consegne" simply as to hand over, also see this kudoz:

I think it really just refers to changing shifts/handing over responsibilities, if any documents are involved they are not explicitly implied with this term

Notes to answerer

Asker: I am aware of this meaning, but we need a noun, and in English we don't call "weather conditions, shipping traffic and the course and speed a ship is maintaining responsibilities". This is why I think I need a proper noun for "consegne".
