I think it really just refers to changing shifts/handing over responsibilities, if any documents are involved they are not explicitly implied with this term -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 6 mins (2012-05-20 01:16:22 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- explicitly implied is a bit of an oxymoron ... But I think you get my drift! |

handover Explanation: I was a deck officer in the navy for 10 years. At the end of shift the officer 'handsover' the situation regarding weather, asset, speed etc. |
