Art/Literary - Ships, Sailing, Maritime / short welcoming note to new readers of a new magazine
Italian term or phrase: grande promiscuità con il mare
In the first issue of a new magazine all about the sea. This is a sort of welcoming note to potential subscribers. Here is the full context:

Esposizione solare prolungata, grande promiscuità con il mare. Il corpo che recupera la sua dimensione liquida, la mente che si dilata in spazi finalmente rarefatti. È l’estate, il motivo per cui siamo grati a qualcuno di essere nati. Benvenuto in XXX!

This word is something of a problem. I have looked at the 3 entries in the ProZ Glossary, but.....maybe "close contact". I wonder if somebody has a better idea. Thanks.

intimate interpenetration/(inter)mingling with the sea
Explanation:
"Close contact" is good but something like "interpenetration" or "(inter)mingling" would be closer to this kind of "promiscuity" (see meaning 1 in the reference).

meaningful tête-à-tête with sea (life)

Explanation:
The difficulty of the Italian word lies in the sexual and often negative connotation of the term.

The selected French expression (literally: head to head) keeps the deep harmony highlighted in the source text. It also tries to preserve the intimacy and the harmony by joining "sea-life"
