Italian to English translations [PRO]
Tech/Engineering - Telecom(munications) / SAN / server farms / Data Centres
Italian term or phrase: SAN/storage di boot
In a translation about support of Data Centres:

the sentence is "Il piano di evoluzione NGDC prevede la realizzazione di "Server Farm", ognuna caratterizzata da un insieme di componenti server e SAN/storage di boot"

As a translation, so far I have "The NGDC evolution plan envisages the implementation of "server farms", each characterised by a collection of servers and......."

I don't understand "storage di boot". I understand what a SAN is and that you can have servers booting from the SAN but I just don't understand what this bit is trying to say.
