La prima divergenza che appare ai nostri occhi è lo spazio tra i  **gambetti (zona dove risiedono gli occhielli per far passate i lacci)**: la differenza del modello derby, ove tra i fori c’è lo spazio pari ad un dito indice, nella Oxford il divario è assente.
