fuori bordo Explanation: this is the Italian but in English it is commonly referred to as outboard -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 4 days (2011-03-23 09:41:48 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- In the first instance fuoribordo (one word) is an outboard motor. Outboard is called fuori bordo (two wrods) in Italian. The two mean the same, e.g. outside the board. The board is the external part of a ship's hull. In your case the pipes take the generator cooling water overboard into the sea. Marolli technical dictionary gives reference to this |
