rewinding (the motor) Explanation: see google motor rewinding for details -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 23 hrs (2011-03-23 10:39:09 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- There isn't a fan without a motor - here the fan motor was rewound on land - ventilatore is translated as a (ventilator) fan - so in some cases the term is called a fan, while in others, such as here, where the motor is being specifically referred to, it is the fan motor. It is rare that technical terms remain perfectly stable as to their translation throughout a text from Italian to English - I don't know about other languages, but in Italian, this variability of the term when translated is very common. |
