sloped roof panels Explanation: I ricaschi del cielo in corrispondenza delle bagagliere = the sloped panels coming from the ceiling in correspondence with the luggage compartment... I do not believe there is much drapery left in modern trains. see the website below for the external version of what you are asking about. Make sure you search for 'ricasco'.
