un manuel de chauffe-eau fait allusion de façon répétée au "cronotermostato" de la commande à distance; J'ai envisagé thermostat programmable, ne trouvant chronothermostat nulle part. Y a-t-il un terme différent plus adapté?

Bien que chrono thermostat se trouve aussi dans certains sites français (par contamination à mon avis) le terme utilisé en français pure souche est "thermostat programmable" tout court pour les chauffe-eau et "thermostat d'ambiance programmable" pour les systèmes de chauffage

l'adjectif programmable indiquant la présence de l'horloge qui est effectivement typique du cronotermostato
