L'espressione si riferisce ad un'immagine di un armadio elettrico. Ho chiesto spiegazioni ad un tecnico del settore e mi ha detto che si tratta di un cortocircuito eseguito tra due poli (pin) del connettore. Si realizza con uno spezzone di filo, o meglio, con un cavallotto (una specie di spinotto che crea il collegamento)

cela pourrait être détrompé au lieu de avec détrompeur - il y a bien des connecteurs détrompés, mais sur Interner je n'ai pas trouvé trace d'étrier ou cavalier détrompé.
