en l'espèce


Explanation:
Je sais qu'en latin "in specie" veut dire "en l'espèce", "dans le cas présent". Peut-être la même expression existe-t-elle en italien, je n'en suis pas sûr.

Je crois que l'auteur veut dire que sa physionomie rappelle le greyhound, et plus encore, dans le cas présent, le Sloughi. Evidemment, ce n'est pas très clair, mais je ne vois pas d'autre explication.
