Asker: Danke Sabina, hab zwar viel Heu gemacht in meiner Kindheit, aber von Schwaden haben wir nie geredet, aber war auch alles noch Handarbeit damals ;-)

agree  GerritH (X): Eine kleine Anmerkung zur Wortform: laut Duden sind Schwade und Schwad (im Unterschied zum Schwaden) dasselbe. Meiner Ansicht nach heißt es allerdings : Heu/Stroh auf Schwad legen bzw. schwaden.
