Saiteninstrumente ist ein positiv **abgeschlossenes Bachelorstudium**[primo livello] der gleichen Studienrichtung oder ein gleichwertiger Abschluss sowie die positive Absolvierung der Zulassungsprüfung. Die Studienkommission der Abteilung Saiteninstrumente kann die Zulassung mit der Auflage verbinden, einzelne über den Studienplan hinausgehende Lehrveranstaltungen zu absolvieren bzw. schriftliche Arbeiten nachzureichen. Für die Erfüllung dieser Aufgaben kann den Studierenden eine Frist gesetzt werden. Wird keine Frist gesetzt, so sind die Auflagen spätestens bis zum Abschluss des Studiums zu erfüllen.

Nachweis der Deutschkenntnisse für Bachelor- und Master-Studienrichtungen: StudienbewerberInnen mit nicht-deutscher Muttersprache müssen nach bestandener Zulassungsprüfung und Aufnahme in ein Studium ihre Deutschkenntnisse der Stufe A2/B1 (nach europäischem Referenzrahmen) vor der Zulassung zum Studium im Studienreferat nachweisen. years) with no further study in any of the individual subjects taken. Rather than concentrating on a single subject, courses that lead to
a traditional Magister degree provide for a combination of several subjects usually consisting of two major subjects or one major
and two minor subjects. The subject combination is generally chosen by the student. The degree gives access to the labour market or to
advanced study and research leading to the
➧ Doktorgrad. The Magistergrad is equivalent to the ➧ Diplomgrad awarded by a university or equivalent tertiary education institution, and to the first ➧ Staatsprufung (state examination)
for courses of study that require state examinations.
The Magistergrad may also be obtained
by completing a traditional one- or two-year
further course of study. It confers on its holders
the title of ➧ Magister (+).
Under the new graduation system defined in article 19 of the Hochschulrahmengesetz (HRG), the Magistergrad may also be obtained as a second- cycle career-qualifying degree further to
completion of 1-2 years of the Magister course subsequent to the ➧ Bachelor (+), which is provided at universities, other equivalent tertiary education institutions and Fachhochschulen.
The courses entailed normally last a maximum of five years. In this case the programme, degree and title are all called ➧ Master (+).
