Ich hatte auch an Objekt gedacht, aber nicht vorgeschlagen, weil dessen wörtliche Übersetzung eigentlich "Subjekt" ist. Aber dieses Subjekt ist tatsächlich ein Objekt, bzw. Gegenstand.
