Anders als im Eigenkapitalmodell, in welchem meist der gesamte **Risiko‐Annahmeprozess** inhouse vollzogen wird und natürlich strenge Underwriting ‐ Rules gelten, kommt beim Vermittlungsmodell meist ein zweistufiges Verfahren zum Zug, bei welchem zuerst der Vermittler den Fall prüft und aufbereitet und diesen dann dem Risikoträger zu einer zweiten und entscheidenden Überprüfung übergibt.
